Guided Play
For recent graduates of Mahj 101 (or 102)
Players will play full games of American Mahj using standard rules and the current NMJL card with the guidance of Birdie Blue Mahj.
Please note: Games are often played a bit slower than regular open play to allow for learning.
Open Play:
For those ready to take the training wheels off
Ongoing playing sessions where people gather to play American Mahj in a causal and unstructured environment.
Mah Jongg sets for guided players are provided. Otherwise, it is recommend that players bring their own NMJL cards and sets.
